I think this is not just a feeling among students - it is relatable because I too thought the same way until I realized there won't be a knight in shining armor - I needed to be that knight for myself

All those stupid romance books had it wrong - you have to save yourself - make the effort to get out of whatever situation you are in and push forth - it has to start with you - in my experience
