I think some writers tend to emulate the big writers on Medium thinking that is a surefire formula for success - maybe it is, I don't know...but from the perspective of a blogger, having a distinct voice is important - that is the only way to stand out in a sea of articles - but then that is just half the story - readership depends on the quality of the content too - just a few thoughts based on my experience
