The one thing that worked for me is I didn't have expectations - just happy to have found the courage to hit publish -

after a year I kind of get the hang of it - there will be those who read and engage with my work, those who won't and those who will read some unsavory comments - and yes, some who gave my articles a wide berth and then started reading & commenting out of the blue - guess they figured I don't bite lol
