I think I've mentioned it in my articles - how I come from a culture that places a lot of emphasis on material things/monetary things and the pursuit after it is never ending...it took me a long time to kind of drum up the courage to do my own thing be it the volunteer activities that give me joy or be it writing.....It is a balance indeed
