I think it was brave of you to have gone! Somethings, awkward and downers though they may be, require our presence and so we have to face it head on -

I am facing a similar event in the near future where I will be the only unmarried female and am sure to have many intrusive questions from busy bodies - I would simply have a Mona Lisa smile on my face - let them figure it out 😆
