I think it is about personal preferences - I go for minimum make up - the one thing I can't do without is eye liner - it's just a preference and am so used to wearing it that it is like second nature -

Yes, I too have observed that men are attracted to looks - but that is only initially - a relationship does not thrive on looks alone :)
