I think I have mentioned it before - I grew up in apartheid South Africa as a brown girl - we were discriminated by both white and black so we stuck to our own group - I am not saying all were racists - not really - but the few were enough

Same here - everyday I hear stories about how minorities are bullied in schools - it is no secret - and this is a monied highly educated city I live in - so lack of awareness is not an excuse -

The kids are learning racism from somewhere and it is not from schools
