I spend a lot of time on my laptop (related to what I do) - so there is that...once dry eyes and neck/shoulder pain hit me, I started taking frequent breaks and doing stretches/eye exercises

With regards to kids, everyone is on devices these days -even for hw. I have seen parents encourage the use of devices because it gives the adults the time and peace to get other things done...🤷♀️
When I was younger, we'd go out and play - but it is not the olden days anymore where you can leave kids unsupervised....
