I remember when I was quite young and I wanted a perm - it took a while to convince my parents and took even longer at the salon to get it done - and it looked horrible on me! The other time I tried to get a hairstyle I thought was fashionable and had my hair cut short - again it didn't suit me because the person with the hairstyle had a heart shaped face and I have a round one...

I have since grown my hair waist long - I still get an occasional hair cut but I do everything else myself
