I remember having Ghanian teachers whilst in Nigeria - they held the students to a high standard (at least in my experience) - I didn't do well on standardized tests back then - it is just I am a self learner and prefer doing things my way - and the funny (and sadly ironic thing) is that then I wasn't considered 'smart' but now I am - wth??!
