I listened to what Geoffrey Hinton talk about AI and he does paint a grim pic

Now, I love technology - it has made life easier in many eyes and more frustrating in others like when you are looking to speak with a live customer service agent and you get an annoying bot instead who doesn't understand what you're trying to say

What bothers me the most (my native country is not US) is the large number of workers who may lose their jobs because of this - lots of ppl will be hurting as a result of AI taking over their jobs - these are some of my concerns
