In all of my rooms

The neons signs outside make them like stained glass

Cars on the street become seamless

With the condensation

It's so beautiful it doesn't seem of this world - in the old country we would have the windows open so we can actually hear the rain fall, smell petrichor, see the curtains flutter in the cooling breeze - it does transport one to a more peaceful frame of mind - over here not so much in the cold but still...
