I have to say left handed ppl were rare when I was growing up and I think the reason why could have been that those days kids were forced to write with their right hand even if they were born left handed - part of it could have been on account of religion - that's awful to warp something natural and make it out into being something unnatural or something to be ashamed of - fortunately now I see a lot of left handed ppl
