Using Dr. Gabrielle Rico’s “clustering” method from “Writing the Natural Way”, write the word in the middle of a piece of paper. Then quickly write words or phrases that come to mind. Circle them and continue on from one section to another as the words tumble from your brain, dropping on to the page. At some point, you’ll realize you have a story to write.
