I have heard directly posting from Medium to social media equals views hence the social media buttons on the article page - but whatever that may be it is not the reason why I promote - I earn money from internal views but I obtain freelancing clients, offers to do promotional blogs, gues blog for other websites, book reviews etc via my presence on social media - so yes it is helping me build my brand - thanks
