I have been traveling as well and just came back to Boston - the flights were smooth (no complaints there) but what I noticed is that the flight out of the city was festive (mood wise) and it continued the further I traveled out of the city - but the flight back in was somber and by the time we landed it was pin drop silence - one could almost feel the stress levels shoot up...go figure
