I have always found that with most of my acquaintances it is best to keep things neutral - there is a reason for that - that way there are no openings for gossip or personal questions which in turn leads to complications - but that is just me - the only ppl I really open up to can be counted on the fingers of one hand and they've known me for years - in a way these types of clear boundaries help keep my mental space clutter free
