I guess it depends on the writer's goals - many are here for the sole purpose of earning a side income and in some case/countries, a full income - sometimes I see the stuff in my feed and I'm like what the heck but then they know what works for them

Since writing is more of a hobby for me, I'd say if I can't write what I feel like writing then I quickly lose motivation....
