I grew up in South Africa - there the emphasis was more on food and us cousins playing - anyone remember hide & go seek and 3 stones - we'd play till we dropped ( we never received any presents nor did we make any demands - I feel we understood parents struggles better than this gen) - so the games and family gathering is what my memories are made of 😊
