I get unfair comments all the time from the so called 'authentic' writers because I make no qualms about writing for an audience - who determines if one authentic or not - and these same ppl complain that their views and earnings are down - I just move on as quickly as possible and because frankly I neither have the time nor energy to bother...

And yes I would see writing involves learning on an ongoing basis - actually learned a few new things today :)
