I get it that we are looking to impress when we're younger but as you grow older and mature from life experiences, you understand that means nothing than fleeting external validation or perhaps an essential step to further one's career - it gives no joy nor does it fill the void

I'm not afraid of the mirror. Why? Because I have self compassion and love myself, flaws and all - for me, knowing myself is the single most important and empowering thing - self realization is indeed an amazing thing 😊💙
