I felt bad for a friend of mine - it's quite normal where I originally come from to have diff skin tones in the same family - some can be light skinned and others more dusky -

My friend husband and their first born are brown yet their youngest is fair with light colored eyes - it's quite jarring to see the family together but it is said the little boy takes after the great grand mom who was half British - but my poor friend got ribbed a lot and ppl used to pass snide comments - she still comes across awkward qns even now
