I don't know if you have heard the quote "The church is not a building; the church is a people"

My home country has some beautiful churches (I might do a post on that next) however the ones I recall from childhood are no longer the same but have been completely rebuilt from the ground up - yes, those are huge financial undertakings and they end up looking nothing like what it was initially

There is sadness in that too
