I don't know Carm...I'm an introverted and shy so writing is the perfect hobby for me however I don't talk about it - simply because the few times I mentioned it to ppl I know, the first thing they asked is can you make money from writing and if so how much do you make. The second is the obvious - what's the point of writing when AI has taken over

I don't have time to answer these qns so they only ppl I truly interact with are my readers

Now that the qn of non genuine engagement is a big issue here and a huge amount of AI content has flooded the system, those who us who are here for the passion and love for writing feel like we're slowly becoming a minority
