I don't have personal experience with book piracy but I was shocked when an editor informed me that my article was copied word for word (image too) by some other 'writer' - they were reported and the matter was swiftly dealt with by medium - same person started plagiarizing my Newsbreak articles and gaining a ton of views - Newsbreak has a longer procedure with reporting and again thanks to some other writers, I was able to successfully report them - but it sure did leave a sour taste in my mouth!
