I didn't know I was an emotional being until I started writing - I could put those emotions into words and that feels good
Also, the other thing I've noticed is talking about my feelings and emotions is way more taxing - after therapy I find myself completely wring out - it does take a lot from me, however writing does not - I don't know why
I have not heard of alexithymia before so thank you for breaking it down so clearly - I think we all have our journeys towards healing...the upside is we are putting one foot infront of the other each day on that journey 💙
