I didn't know about boundaries - in my culture and my generation women did not set boundaries in marriage and rts so the husbands had complete control (norms set by a patriarchial society) -they decided what women can wear, whether she can get an education or if she should work -

I am glad I was able to come to this country and learn what identity and the importance of boundaries are all about - I never hesitate to make my boundaries clear and it's helped me a lot with regards to mental health
