I can't explain why but this article had a different feel to it - perhaps it was the pix from a diff time or you writing about your experiences with moving until you set down roots - I must say I have moved all my life and it has gotten to a point that I don't form any attachment to the houses I live in (even if they are mine) because I know it will only be a matter of time before I move - hopefully will settle down in one, one day
