I can totally visualize it - I have dreamed of being part of a band - we even practised back in school while in South Africa -but it didn't last long -

Can also relate to the idea of being exotic - in my case being in a town that is mostly Caucausian - it wasn't much different in SA where I was neither here nor there ...

It is sad when some friends have ulterior motives and see you as their ticket to somewhere....
