I can relate to a lot what you said here - in a way I am glad I am in the US for the ppl in my home country, especially women, are not kind towards divorcees - it is like we have a contagious disease and the blame for it is more often not on the divorcee as well even if it wasn't her fault - it is a patriarchial culture after all

Some of the ppl I know are unhappily married and yet they stay in dead end marriages - I couldn't imagine doing something like that for the rest of my life...
