Another doctor's appointment,
another day digging under doors
to speculate about cracks that might
emit sprinkles of hope and light,
test after test turns breaths of tension,
faraway forms and slanted signatures
words become a slow void,
round and round we go 
spinning mad,
medical journals demolish terms 
that plaster my views
with still verbs,
and actions that go unheard.
