I am glad there is a happy conclusion to this sad issue - yay for good friends!

It is a dilemma indeed when there is no one to take care of an elderly person and the kids are abroad - but at the same time one has to respect the wishes of the person and try to find a way that they can spend their time in peace and happiness - an old age facility is not for everyone...
