This is why I don’t like being popular
I don’t get mad over silly things because, quite frankly, over the past year I have been exposed to different variations of jealousy, pettiness, and idiocy.
Sadly, some of it is from the so-called ‘experts’ in the field of writing who are irked by their obvious lack of success on Medium.
Must hurt to see the new breed of writers who are working full-time jobs and slaying it in the blogging sphere as well.
Sounds bitter?
F*ck yea.
This AI queen left a comment on my post titled I Use This 1 Simple Tip to Write Highly Engaging Stories that my use of simple and easy-to-understand English in exchange for a few more clicks and reads was bringing the reading level of the Americas down.
I am flattered that this person thinks I am able to do so.
I am even more flattered that this person thinks I am capable of singlehandedly doing so.
What that person doesn’t get is nobody is forcing all these people to read and leave comments on my stuff. It’s a free country after all.
