I am an avid walker and I remember that during covid lockdown I purchased a pair of fancy sneakers but the strange thing was I started experiencing pain unlike any after a few days - I limped to the doctor who said I needed shoes with better arch support - it worked and the pain disappeared -so thank goodness it wasn't anything major -
