I am a little old fashioned when it comes to money - one thing I've realized is it doesn't buy happiness but it helps make life comfortable...for example, it takes care of the bills that have an annoying habit of being very prompt ;)

I am more concerned about down the road than the present - so I make it a point to have a diversified portfolio - I feel it will pay off as one grows older and has less income coming in from traditional sources

At times, I wonder about this live for the moment trend that is going on - you splurge and that is money down the drain - it's never coming back - but then there are the memories associated with it which are priceless

So there's always a give and take, I guess
