How about this - as a newly wed (back in the day) who had no clue about what toys my inlaw's kids played with - I bought a doll (didn't know it was made of breakable material) and tossed it in my suitcase - sadly its head separated from the body during travel - but fortunately it was the last in the pile of Christmas gifts that included expensive Barbies that all mine got was a cursory glance - phew 😀
