Hmm - I have a couple of endearing nicknames but certainly mellow or yellow are not one of them lol - too fiery tempered for those lol - someone close to me who still has traces of his British education calls me 'dear' - I don't know but it has this habit of instantly calming me down (and shutting me up 😆)
