Here's a secret, the first three months of my journey, I didn't check my stats nor did I join the MPP simply because I wanted to know if writing was for me - and also I wanted to figure out what I wanted to write and how the platform works instead of listening to 'advice' -

Advice is free but there is no one size fits all - for instance I used to post only twice a week as a newbie despite popular advice and now it's up to 3-4. It works for me.

I'd say don't give up hope - keep writing and experimenting
