Having a Anglicized name certainly helps here - especially when going for your papers or especially on a call with customer service (unless of course the associate is based in your country or a country that understands complicated names)

I say this from experience - having a unique name is great but once you come here, it is very tough - I have an easy to pronounce name but even then ppl here pretend they don't understand
