Fascinating read - I am familiar with bungalows but Dak Bungalows are something altogether new to me - how interesting that they made these rest stops for weary travelers and I also enjoyed reading about the typical fare visitors could partake at the Dak Bungalows. I have been meaning to write something about Anglo Indians - there are many where I come from so this might be the nudge I needed ;)
