Do you know what studies have shown about what weighs most on the mind at the deathbed - sounds morbid I know but bear with me - it's regret. So I'd def say, your grandmother's life was one well lived.
I miss my grandmother - she passed on at 97. I was very close to her - most of my heritage stories are inspired by her or the stories I recall her telling me from long ago - her memories of those times were crystal clear
I value my independence a lot - and also living a life of no regrets - I have given too much by way of family and societal expectations to spend one minute of my time bothering about those anymore,,,,
