I don't have your level of experience as a creative but let me tell you that I find myself nodding to what you say here based on my experience writing on this and other platforms. Being a creator is hard work and the results are not instant by any means...and throw in the fact that the trends/technologies are constantly changing makes it well - highly competitive and frustrating at times. Also I feel many don't get or choose to ignore that marketing is also an important aspect of the game...
