Before Covid I used to volunteer at an old age facility - it wasn't Alzheimer's but dementia - the sad thing was that despite it being a really pricey place - some of the residents couldn't recall their name, I doubt they could remember others name and their particular section had to be kept locked at all times to prevent the residents from wandering off - I found that to be very sad -
