An elderly person I know who is famous for being cantankerous once said she is not looking forward to being entombed with the rest of the late family members once she passed on because she didn't want to continue their bickering in the afterlife

The reason I shared this is I think it is all about how you perceive the afterlife

For me, my faith says there is a heaven, hell and purgatory - one can say there are the same things here on earth

I know (don't ask me how) that the thought of my loved ones who have departed comforts me so it is not a scary thing for me
