30% of all traffic-related deaths in the US involved driving impaired drivers (2020) - so the writing is clear on the wall - do not drink and drive - however, how many ppl listen to that? Probably because they think nothing bad will happen (it's just a couple of drinks afterall)

I did not know sitting in the car drunk is considered an offence in Scotland
